Natalie R. Wilson, Esq.

Senior Attorney,

Natalie was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2003.  After graduating from college, Natalie attended law school at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida.  She earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2006. This was a major milestone in Natalie’s life as it was her childhood dream to become an attorney. After graduating from law school, Natalie returned home to Lakeland where she began her legal career at Clark, Campbell & Mawhinney, P.A., as an associate attorney in its Elder Law, Estate Planning and Tax Department. Natalie opened her own law firm, Wilson Law, P.L., in 2010 where she served her clients as a solo practitioner for 8 years. Natalie sold her firm to Family Elder Law in 2018.  At that time, she joined our firm as a Senior Attorney responsible for our Lakeland office and surrounding markets.

Natalie has devoted her entire career to counseling her elderly clients, their families and loved ones as they encounter the legal issues that accompany aging.  She strives to help her clients make sense of the complex legal areas of estate planning, long term care planning and asset protection planning. She assists her clients in accomplishing their specific goals by developing plans that are unique to them. This makes Natalie a great fit for our firm and a valuable member of the Family Elder Law Team.

Natalie is a member of both the Elder Law Section and the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. She serves on the Advisory Board of a local non-profit organization called Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (“VISTE”) whose mission is to enable the frail and elderly to remain safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. Natalie is a past President of the Lakeland Bar Association and the current President of the Estate Planning Council of Polk County.

In her free time, you will find Natalie at one of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks in Orlando.  Most people will find this hard to believe, but Natalie goes to Disney World to relax and clear her head.  She refers to it as her happy place.

Natalie’s favorite quote is “expect the unexpected.”
